Lead the Finnish affiliate of this dynamic Nordic MedTech distributor into the future!

TIMIK is in search of a dedicated Managing Director of TIMIK Oy that will provide strategic, financial and operational leadership to ensure TIMIK's overall success. Your primary objective will be to drive extensive and sustainable growth through exceptional commercial execution in with the company's goals and mission.

TIMIK Group AB is a Nordic healthcare company established in 2014, specializing in medical equipment for diagnosing, treating and managing acute and chronic diseases. With a budgeted turnover of approximately 425 MSEK in 2025, TIMIK has experienced steady growth. The company focuses on the Nordics while sourcing innovative products globally. TIMIK's success is attributed to its strong market position, commitment to customer satisfaction, operational execution and dedication to providing the latest advancements in medical technology.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic vision aligned with TIMIK´s vision, mission, goals and sustainability objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Optimize operational performance across all functions, including sales execution, supply chain management, customer support and technical service.
  • People & Organizational development: Develop and lead a strong team, ensuring clear goals, accountability, and alignment with TIMIK’s strategy. Foster a high-performance culture where values are actively lived, employee engagement is prioritized supporting the company’s success.
  • Environmental and Social Responsibility: Champion sustainability initiatives and corporate social responsibility programs, integrating environmental and social considerations into business practices.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork across all departments, functions and country boarders.
  • Market Expansion: Identify growth opportunities and assess the potential for expanding TIMIK’s Finnish presence.

Requirements

  • Personality: Strategic mindset with focus on achieving long term goals. Demonstrates strong business acumen with the ability to make sound decisions and drive commercial success.
  • Industry Experience: Proven MedTech/ Pharma industry experience demonstrating successful leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Financial Strategy Development: Sound financial acumen with experience in developing and executing financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Change Management Expertise: Proven track record of successfully leading organizational change initiatives and driving transformational growth.
  • Innovation and Technology Leadership: Demonstrated understanding of emerging technologies and their applications in the healthcare industry.
  • Customer and Supplier Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
